Lydeard St Lawrence Community Primary School

Inclusion, Special Educational Needs and/or Disability

We strive to provide quality, inclusive education for our children in our rural school. Children are at the very heart of our community and together we will support each other to; work as confident individuals and team members, lead our own learning and development through, a shared understanding and acceptance of our own unique needs and the need of others around us. This will be nurtured through friendships, honest feedback and community partnerships.

Together as a community we will ensure there are exceptional opportunities that allow each of us to flourish and nurture our creativity. We will develop our talents and courageously challenge our understanding to become the best that we can be for ourselves and others...

If you would like to make an appointment to discuss your child's SEND needs, please meet with the class teacher in the first instance.  Our SEND referral process is clearly set out below.
